Are you looking for a new opportunity in which you can offer your energy, time, skills and talent to support and drive forward a small national charity?
Are you passionate about improving the lives of people living with sight loss?
Would you like to join us as a trustee?
What will you be doing?
The Partially Sighted Society is looking for people who would like to guide and direct the work we do as a Trustee.
The skills, talent and experience we would be interested in are:
- Fundraising
- Networking
- Corporate Law
- Clinical Practice in the field of Visual Impairment
For people considering offering their services as a potential Trustee, the minimum time commitments are attendance at board meetings which are held approximately 4-5 times a year and commitment to Partially Sighted Society Open Days, social and fundraising events.
Trustees have particular legal responsibilities under charity law.

Experience of living with a sight loss, or supporting someone who does, would be an advantage.

The Partially Sighted Society is a nationally recognised charity providing for the needs of wide variety of visually impaired people.
We are currently a small trustee board with big ambitions to grow to meet the needs and expectations of the wider visually impaired community both locally and nationally.
We need to have the right skills and expertise of fully committed trustees in place to achieve that growth.
