Tanzania Donations Update!

Our friends Aleen and Brian Medcalf have provided a fantastic update on the delivery of surplus school supplies to schools in Tanzania for children and young people with visual impairments.

Aleen wrote to us saying “I am very happy to forward you these pictures taken by Daniel Mpanduzi, Director of The Voice School in Usa River, Kilimanjaro Region.

His students with albinism have been grateful recipients of your books and magnifiers for a few years now. Finding he had an excess of supplies this year, he teamed up with the headmistress of nearby Patandi Special School and personally delivered your books to the students with visual impairments.
Patandi Headmistress, Janeth Molell, said: “thank you for putting a smile on the face of these children".
You will also receive a song from one of the students - thanking you for the gift of books which will help them study to improve the outlook for their future.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Aleen and Brian. Their donation of our surplus school supplies will hopefully be a great help to the students' success in education!
