Coronation Street character Johnny Connor has the little-known eye condition Charles Bonnet Syndrome. People with CBS can experience disturbing hallucinations from seeing people in historical costumes to seeing zombies. To make things true to life, the Corrie script-writers consulted Judith Potts, who runs Esme’s Umbrella, which provides support to people with CBS.
