An Update From Aleen and Brian Medcalf

An Update From Aleen and Brian Medcalf

An update from the amazing couple, Aleen and Brian Medcalf who are currently in Tanzania, Africa helping young students who have visual impairments.

"Hello again!"

"We've now been in Mvumi for a couple of weeks and send
you greetings not only from us but also from the staff and students - especially those in the VI Unit!"

"Hopefully, before long you will receive the periodical Newsletter from the Mvumi School Trust including a page of recognition for your part in assisting the students they sponsor here - we know one is in progress - but... in case you don't, I have attached some pictures."

"You will see students in action using some of the Desktop magnifiers you passed on; a general picture of the students catching up with notes etc. In their classroom; a couple of students using your exercise books and handheld magnifiers and the 2021 Form 4 leavers."

"In the picture they are using Videospec magnifiers but they send thanks as your donations also helped them achieve their O-level results - one Division 1, one Division 2 and two Division 4s. Thanks to these results, all will be able to continue in either Higher or Further Education."

Thanks again for your interest and support."

Best wishes,

Aleen & Brian

The Partially Sighted Society would like to go on record once again and give their thanks to all the vital work they are doing to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Keep up the amazing work!
